Nexus Recruitment have been instructed on a truly one-of-a-kind position in Leicester, working with a boutique property management and development firm. Our client is looking for an experienced Finance professional to come on board as Head of Finance, to lead the internal finance team reporting into the Owners.
Core responsibilities:
- Banking - working with online services and maintaining relationships with external providers and monitoring the bank accounts daily.
- Managing and full oversight of accounts receivable/payable
- Full responsibility of Payroll for the business
- Direct management of a team of 4, consisting of accounts assistants and purchase ledger clerks
- Responsible for a turnover of circa £40million, due to increase rapidly over the next 12 months
This role will suit a qualified and experienced individual with circa 15 years+ in the industry. Real Estate experience is not essential, our client is looking for someone who has been in a Head of or FD type position for many years with extensive staff management experience. The following skillset/track record is preferred:
- 10 years minimum in a senior finance position (any industry)
- ACCA/CIMA qualified (essential)
- An approachable personality, and able to manage multiple relationships with staff and stakeholders
- Knowledge of legal compliance
