Investment Account Manager - Salary £30,000 - £34,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

Based: Leicestershire / Hybrid

Our client is a growing and successful Chartered Wealth Management firm, we are searching for an experienced investments account manager to join their team. Candidates must have experience within the wealth management sector and in handling investments and ideally some pensions exposure.

You will be supporting clients and managing their investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a quality administration service to the investment portfolios of clients
  • Support the Client Advisor and Investment Manager
  • Trade investments through online platforms including Unit trusts, ETF’s, Investments Trusts, Pension funds, life insurance funds etc
  • Place investment deals including buying, selling, and switching
  • Provide information to paraplanners to prepare suitability reports
  • Understanding and maintaining awareness of the current and ongoing Investment Strategy of the Team, including the contracts and investment funds recommended to buy, sell or hold
  • Keep up to date with the global investment markets
  • Process new business effectively and utilise the diary system
  • Developing knowledge on creating and managing Investment Portfolios
  • Calculate money weighted return of portfolios for client review packs
  • Recording all investment transactions through our back-office system (Adviser Office).
  • Communicating with clients, both verbally and in writing, as well as fellow professionals,
  • Preparing valuation statements and recommendations for change, where appropriate.
  • Maintain paper and computer records of all activities undertaken

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to A level standard as a minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in wealth management and investments administration.
  • Ideally part or fully Diploma 4 qualified with plan to continue with relevant qualifications
  • Focused individual with good communication skills and the ability to assist with team development
  • Well organised and good time management with strong Microsoft office skills word/excel
  • Driven to succeed and strong sales abilities to achieve targets
