Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring accurate, timely payments while leading a team of seven finance assistants.

Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of seven finance assistants, allocating workload effectively and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Payment Oversight: Review purchase ledger, expense, and foster carer payments for accuracy and completeness.
- Process Improvement: Lead the implementation of automated invoice capture and electronic workflows, providing SAP Concur training and ongoing support.
- Integration Support: Align accounts payable processes during business acquisitions.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Finance Manager to identify and implement efficiency-driven changes.
- Proven team management experience with a focus on development and training.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience working within or alongside a finance function is a plus.
