Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring accurate, timely payments while leading a team of seven finance assistants.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving process improvement and enhancing customer service within a fast-paced and growing organisation.

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of seven finance assistants, allocating workload effectively and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Payment Oversight: Review purchase ledger, expense, and foster carer payments for accuracy and completeness.
• Process Improvement: Lead the implementation of automated invoice capture and electronic workflows, providing SAP Concur training and ongoing support.
• Integration Support: Align accounts payable processes during business acquisitions.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Finance Manager to identify and implement efficiency-driven changes.

• Proven team management experience with a focus on development and training.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Previous experience working within or alongside a finance function is a plus.
