Sonic Summary

The Food Safety Manager position is a permanent role with a day shift schedule, reporting to the site Technical Manager.
The role requires extensive technical experience within a complex high-risk production environment, ideally with a degree or HND in Food Science or a related field.
Key responsibilities include managing the annual validation schedule, developing HACCP, and improving food safety controls.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience (DOE), and the role offers benefits such as a pension, generous annual leave, and profit share bonus.
Candidates should have HACCP Level 3 training and experience dealing with multiple retailers.

Food Safety and Quality Auditor

Working on behalf of our client, a renowned chilled food manufacturer, Mach Recruitment are currently looking for a Food Safety and Quality Auditor.

You will ensure that the company meets all necessary legislative / agreed customer standards and food safety best practice guidance, through robust quality management and risk assessment approach.

Key responsibilities:

Development of HACCP
Work closely with QA and operations teams
Improve controls around food safety
Run regular HACCP meetings
Actively take part in customer visits and audits
Conduct internal audits

Skills and Experience:

Ideally a Degree/HND in Food Science, Technology or Science based subject
Extensive technical experience within food manufacturing
Dealing with multiple retailers
Trained to HACCP Level 3 as a minimum

8.30am-5.00pm
