What are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate people to join us at our new site in Leicester.

  • Follow the company Health & Safety guidelines as outlined above.
  • Ensure all Risk Assessments are completed, reviewed and amended if required.
  • Ensure that Pre-Start checks are completed before using any machinery.
  • Working closely with the engineering team, agree and implement improvements to the process.
  • Work in conjunction with site management / Technical / QA teams to implement legislative changes / management system updates.
  • Ensure that the hygiene management plan is maintained in line with site and customer food manufacturing standards, all requirements are adhered to, and activities are completed to schedule.
  • Manage the CIC system, including periodic reviews and updates where required.
  • To take appropriate action and conduct investigations, where required, in the event unacceptable cleaning standard observations, swab results, finished product microbiological results, customer complaints, or other incidents.
  • Plan and implement periodic deep cleaning.
  • Manage stock levels of chemicals and equipment, whilst working within agreed stock levels.
  • Conduct chemical testing where required to verify the correct dosing levels for cleaning chemicals.
  • Adhere strictly to all onsite HACCP procedures and ensure that procedures and instructions are closely followed by hygiene personnel.
  • Adopt a "Right First Time" approach to their work.
  • Identify and develop potential within the team, and coordinate the relevant training and support required.
  • Ensure all departmental staff are suitably trained for the tasks they are involved in and maintain the department cleaning training records.
  • The site is committed to being "audit-ready" at all times.
