We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader based in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire.

Salary: 45,000 per annum

Immediate start required

Working Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm, (flexibility may be needed for internal meetings)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead a team ensuring perform well and providing exceptional service and standards. Coaching, influencing and morale boosting.

Deliver a proactive and preventative approach to People Safety

Open communication always and operation impacts are communicated to all stakeholders.

Always ensuring legal compliance and safe working practices are adhered to.

Data analysing information, establishing root cause and putting best practice in place.

Carry out pre-shift brief with Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers and review performance.

Manage FLT resource/redeployment during shift, react to available work, and monitor Performance, Gaps and Failed Replenishment's.

Manage reports for operations meetings.

Ensure Team review pick location, reserve and quantities match accurately on the system.

Review Gap report and investigate with root cause and action to prevent recurrence.

Ensure Mechanical Handling Equipment damage investigations are completed within 24 hours.

Complete a full hygiene walk around checking for spillages etc. and ensuring all areas are clean and free of debris.

Report accidents and investigate all accidents and near miss incidents.

Ensure all pre-operational checks on MHE and all other equipment is carried out.

Monitor manual handling routines across the Distribution centre.

Communicate updates where briefings are the preferred method of engagement.

Track own performance against People and Safety measures.
