ASDAN / SEND Teacher - Leicester based secondary school

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach ASDAN and some SEND. This is a full-time and long-term role, potentially until the end of the academic year.


The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) programs, which are designed to develop skills for learning, work, and life. The students completing the ASDAN course are in Year 10 and Year 11 and are undertaking Entry Level qualifications in Maths and English, so experience teaching either of these subjects is desirable.


To be successful you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering ASDAN programs or similar educational frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of SEND and teaching students with diverse learning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
