BIM Technician

Our clients are a Mechanical,Electrical and Environmental Design Consultancy offerring design-based solutions and expertise to a range of clients across all sectors of the construction industry

THEY REQUIRE A BIM TECHNICIAN

BIM (Building Information Modelling), working closely with the design team and end-user clients.

A Collaborative working approach allows themto work simultaneously with project architects, structural engineers, landscape architects and interior designers. The culmination of this process provides the site team with a clash-free fully detailed design, reducing the level of abortive cost and construction delivery time.

You will be responsible for incorporating all of the functions, components, construction procedures and maintenance protocols into one CAD design

  • Use of Revit to design and model products
  • Coordinating design with other services
  • Collaborating with production to ensure products are manufactured to design specifications
  • Liaising and coordinating with clients, the other designers, contractors and the production team
  • Completing site surveys
  • Delivering full BIM coordination including usage of BIM360 and Clash Detection features

The successful candidate will have a passion for Digital Engineering, the Building Services industry and Design for Manufacture, as well as BIM standards and processes. You will also be proficient in the use of Revit and be innovative and offer solutions and ideas.
