An established firm of accountants based in Leicester are looking to hire a job vacancy for a mixed Bookkeeper and Payroll position, to work out of their office in Leicester due to expanding workloads and growth of the firm. The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates and the salary is dependent on experience.

PAYROLL DUTIES -

  • Deliver exceptional payroll services
  • Join our payroll team and work with a diverse portfolio of clients, in a wide range of sectors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete multi payroll processing for clients covering weekly, 4 weekly, monthly and annual payrolls
  • Undertake payroll-related duties including tax coding, student loans and attachment of earnings.
  • Preparation of BACs for salary payments.
  • Prepare and upload pension contribution/new member schedules across a range of pension providers.
  • RTI processing/balancing payroll figures and year end submissions.

 

BOOKKEEPING DUTIES -

  • Deliver exceptional services as a Client Bookkeeper.
  • Support our bookkeeping team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients, from sole traders to limited companies with various levels of turnover and in a wide range of sectors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process bookkeeping tasks for clients
  • Bank postings and reconciliation
  • Prepare, review and submit VAT returns
  • Post journals for payroll
  • Detailed analysis of debtors and creditors reconciliation
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC.
