Position: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the education sector or further their career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher.
• Ensure students remain on task and follow classroom rules and expectations.
• Provide assistance with learning activities and manage student behaviour.
• Support students with any queries and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and collect completed work at the end of the lesson.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the relevant staff members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in managing classroom behaviour.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for supporting students.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A good standard of education (minimum GCSEs or equivalent).
