Macildowie is working with a successful business based in Enderby to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent, office-based basis.
- Salary: up to £34,000
- Location: Enderby
- Working Arrangement: 100% office-based

As a key part of the Sales Ledger function, you'll support the team in ensuring the timely and accurate billing, collection, and credit control of significant annual revenue across a portfolio of strategic customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact customers for payment of outstanding invoices.
- Progress credit control steps in line with company credit policy.
- Ensure invoices are accurately raised and issued on time.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve invoice disputes.
- Accurately allocate cash to customer accounts and analyse unallocated balances.
- Produce and distribute weekly debtors reports and monthly customer statements.
- Update and monitor credit limits on customer accounts.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years' experience in credit control, billing, or collections, ideally within a fast-paced business environment.
- Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills (intermediate level).
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, motivated, and calm under pressure. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations.
- Behavioural Competencies: Adaptable, collaborative, and enthusiastic about change and development.
