Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client for a Haulage Manager / Officer. This role offers great opportunities in an excellent working environment.
This is a long-term ongoing role through the agency which is paid on a weekly basis.
Role:
- Managing a site including Supervisors, Drivers and ground staff, developing their skills and competencies to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Supporting and overseeing the rest of the Transport office team, dealing with absences, disciplinarys etc.
- Deal with recruitment needs, inductions, staff training and more
- Managing Key contracts to values above £3m
- Make sure all documents, contracts are all in accordance with EU legislation and procedures
- Oversee relevant budgets on site
- You will be required to be at multiple sites in the Leicester Area (Millage is covered)
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within a waste transport service or transferable environment.
- Previous experience managing a team with proven success
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
The Hours
Monday to Friday on a day shift, circa 40 hours per week.
Rate of Pay
You will earn an hourly rate between £22 - £27.
