The opportunity:

Macildowie's HR Team are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator. This is a brand new role within the business. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their team in a fully remote role. You'll provide essential support to their HR department, handling a range of tasks to keep things running smoothly. If you have strong organisational skills, a passion for helping people, and a genuine interest in HR, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Support: Assist with various HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, ER admin support, maintaining employee records, and offboarding.
  • Data Management: Ensure employee records are accurate and up-to-date in our HR systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Support hiring and exit processes, including issuing offer letters, contracts, and handling required documentation.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding by organizing induction plans and conducting right-to-work checks; manage offboarding for departing employees.
  • Policy & Compliance: Help maintain and update HR policies to align with current regulations.
  • Employee Support: Respond to HR-related queries from employees, offering guidance or connecting them with the appropriate resource.
  • Payroll Assistance: Coordinate with payroll to ensure smooth monthly processing, handling any necessary adjustments.
  • Project Support: Contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement and compliance.

The successful candidate:

  • Experience: Previous HR Admin experience is essential.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, with an ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office, with a keen eye for detail.
  • HR Knowledge: Good understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a fully remote role.
