The Opportunity Our Leicester based HR Shared Service Centre is seeking to recruit a full time HR Assistant for our HR Advice & Support function.

What can I expect day-to-day* As HR Assistant, you will be required to respond to enquiries from employees and managers on a wide range of matters such as, family friendly leave & pay, flexible working, visas and sponsorship and holiday calculations in line with employee terms and conditions of employment and Hays policies and procedures.* Your excellent organisation skills will ensure that the relevant systems are updated accordingly, records are kept up to date and our processes, such as maternity and flexible working, are closely followed. * Working closely with the Senior HR Assistant & Senior Manager HR SSC & ED&I you will support the development of policies and procedures in line with legal and business requirements as well as evaluating existing processes in order to suggest efficiency improvements.

What you will need to succeedThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience and/or knowledge of ER and employment legislation. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have demonstrable experience of engaging with a wide group of internal stakeholders.
