Gi Group are looking for a machine operator to work on the Wickman machines, we have Double Day shifts or Night shifts available.

The Employer

This company specialise in manufacturing nuts, bolts, and fasteners predominately for the aerospace industry. They are looking for Manual Machinist or individuals with a manufacturing or production mindset to join their expanding team due to their business rapidly growing.

The Job

  • Set up and run machines
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ensure parts are manufactured in line with quality requirements but initial self-inspection will be your responsibility
  • Able to set & operate machinery
  • Any knowledge of forging & press machines would be advantageous but not essential
  • Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
