Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required on a project in the Leicstershire area. You will be responsible for carrying out all PPM and reactive maintenance on all EC&I assets to ensure plant availability is maximized and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Fault finding and maintaining mechanical and Electrical assets including pumps, gearboxes, valves, Motors, Panels, Controls and Instrumentation etc.
- Carry out inspections and condition-based monitoring
- Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices
- To ensure compliance with the pressure regulations and lifting gear inspection requirements
- Assisting in plant developments and projects
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the site CMMS
- Carry out preventative maintenance in line with scheduled PPM’s
- Provide reactive maintenance duties on plant in a timely manner to meet the needs of the operation’s requirements
- Ensure all CBM duties are conducted
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a heavy process environment
- Experience with CMMS or Piranha (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Level 3 NVQ in Maintenance Engineering
- The highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance
