Paraplanner

South Leicestershire (our ref AL1320)

Hybrid, 2 days per week at home following probation period

Salary to £35,000 (dep on exp + benefits

My client is an established IFA based in South Leicestershire and they now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.

Main Duties

  • Assist consultants where needed in each stage of the advice process.
  • Analyse existing client holdings including contract features, fund and charges analysis
  • Create compliant Suitability Reports
  • Prepare supporting research (e.g. cash flow models)
  • Prepare supporting documentation (compliance and application paperwork, illustrations etc)
  • Deal with consultant and client technical queries
  • Maintain clear and compliant client records
  • Carry out other related duties when required

Day to Day

  • Log new business cases into Paraplanning
  • Update Reports log
  • Use FE Analytics where needed to compare funds and portfolio’s (supporting research)
  • Create Illustrations for new business (supporting research)
  • Produce cash flow analysis where relevant (supporting research)
  • Create compliant Suitability Reports
  • Pre-fill any required application forms
  • Pre-fill any supporting documents (compliance documents)
  • Input data onto Adviser Office where needed
  • Deal with consultant and client technical queries
  • Print any requested forms and send to the client for sign and return.

The ideal person

  • Previous paraplanning experience
  • CII qualifications an advantage but not essential, although study towards this will be required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate, analytical and IT literate
  • Motivated
