Tradewind are currently seeking a Nurture Teacher for an engaging opportunity at a well-regarded SEMH school in Leicestershire.

This is a long term position, starting in August 2024, on a full-time basis. The daily pay ranges from £153.89 to £211.93+, depending on experience.

As the Nurture Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality teaching, ensuring the effective delivery of the school's curriculum. We are looking for a creative and dedicated teacher who tailors their approach to meet the educational needs of pupils, maximising their achievements and development.

You will teach a class of pupils made up of a range of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH. The school are looking for a primary trained teacher due to the projected KS2 ability level of pupils.

To be successful in this Nurture Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of working with SEN and challenging behaviour.
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Provide overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and undergo professional reference checks.
  • Ensure your CV covers all employment and education since leaving secondary school.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
