Senior Architect

Our client, a successful architectural practice, with over 50 years of history and a number of offices across the UK are seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their expanding Leicester office. They have a determination to provide a first-class service, which has generated client relationships across both the private and public sectors. Our client are receptive in their search, so Senior / Principle / Associate level Architects are encouraged to apply.

Our client is currently going through planned expansion and under the direction of their ambitious and forward-thinking leadership, the studio consequently has an extremely busy pipeline of work. The successful Senior Architect would benefit from the opportunity to develop their experience and role within the growing team. You will be working as part of a small team, in a job running capacity, on a range of projects in different sectors. Our client are a Revit using practice, so experience with the software is essential.

• Ability and opportunity to run projects at varying stages
• Work within the Commercial, Mixed-Use and Industrial sectors
• Submit planning applications
• Lead on projects
• Work across all RIBA stages
• Conduct site visits
• Lead a design team
• Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction
• Liaise with clients and develop key relationships

• ARB Or RIBA Qualified Architect
• Ability to work autonomously as well as support more junior members of the team
• Ability to action a client brief
• Capable of leading projects and detailing
• Live within a commutable distance of Leicester
• Good Revit skills
• Proven experience on submitting projects for planning
• Experienced in running projects
• Good knowledge of construction techniques
