Job Title: Shipping & Imports Coordinator

Location: Leicester (Hybrid Role)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Role Overview:
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our logistics operations. You will ensure the smooth import of goods from countries such as China, India, Turkey, and Europe, while maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate imports into the UK and Europe.
  • Manage and maintain shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, including C88's, SAD's, and COO's.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and shipping partners to optimize logistics processes.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create reports, including formulas and lookups, to track shipments and inventory levels.
  • Knowledge of boarder/tarriffs
  • Raise Purchase Orders in ERP System
  • Invoice Processing
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve any shipping issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and compliance, specifically C88's, SAD's, and COO's.
  • Proven experience with imports from Asia and Europe.
  • Excellent reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and lookups.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
