Your new companyYou will be joining a main contractor based in Derby operating in the water industry. This high-profile and established organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the East Midlands region with a major water provider, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to join their team.Your new roleAs Site Manager, you will be based initially on their upcoming site in the Leicestershire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations
  • Ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental policies
  • Reporting progress to key project stakeholders
  • Managing construction activities
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
  • Maintaining budgets and schedules.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Experience overseeing the successful delivery of civil works in the water industry in a site management capacity
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
  • Strong understanding of HSE policies and CDM regulations
  • Ability to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractors
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
