Your new companyOur client is an award-winning insurance law firm who are currently recruiting a Sports Solicitor of 0-3 years PQE to join their Leicester office on a hybrid basis. This role is open to strong EL/PL candidates looking to pursue a career within sports law. Your new roleThis Sports Solicitor role will see you assist senior associates and partners on high-value and high-profile claims. You will work closely with a number of governing sports bodies, competitors, clubs and their insurers. You will assist with significant disclosure and document reviews, preparing witness statements, drafting instructions to counsel/experts and attending court hearings and client meetings. What you'll need to succeedYou must be a qualified solicitor with 0-3 years PQE. Previous experience assisting on multi-track EL/PL claims is essential. Handling your own defendant EL/PL files is beneficial. Applicants must have a genuine interest in sport and sports law. You must have excellent client care and communication skills.
