We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocktaker to join our client's team in the LE4 area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly stocked, organised, and displayed in accordance with company standards. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: LE4

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: 30,000pa

This is a permanent role from day one!

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unpack merchandise, ensuring that all items are checked for quality and accuracy.
  • Organise stock on shelves and in storage areas, maintaining an orderly and visually appealing display.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as necessary to ensure availability for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding product locations and availability.
  • Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Provide leadership by supervising junior staff when required, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills with a focus on organisational tasks.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for customer interaction.
  • Familiarity with Adobe software, particularly Adobe Illustrator, is a plus for visual merchandising tasks.
  • Previous experience in a retail or stock management role is preferred but not essential.
  • A proactive attitude towards supervising and leading team efforts is beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
