We are seeking multiple skilled Tig Welder/Fabricators to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication ideally in the food manufacturing industry with the knowledge of working and handling stainless steel. With the ability to work with sheet metal/box section/tube to a high standard. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to interpret technical drawings. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean working environment.

Duties:

- Perform TIG welding on various materials, 1.5mm stainless sheet up to thick gauge/box section.

- Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and technical drawings.

- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for de-burring and finishing metals.

- Welds to be to a high standard, mainly all welds visibly left on.

- Working closely with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship.

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

- TIG brush welds keeping stainless material clean/unscratched.

Skills:

- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques, with experience in stainless steel, knowledge of handling material to be scratch free etc.

- Mechanical knowledge will be advantageous as fitting will be required as part of the job, once parts are fabricated there will be an assembly aspect.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.

- Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes.

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work is a must.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
