Mentus Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of mental health services to fill a Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist position in Leicester.
This temporary role, with the potential for permanent placement, involves working alongside an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and junior doctors.
The hospital is known for its first-class patient care and therapeutic treatment approach, supported by a comprehensive medical and nursing team.
Responsibilities include completing tribunal reports, supporting junior doctors, conducting ward rounds, and assisting the Consultant as needed.
The position offers a pay rate of £55-70 per hour depending on experience, and requires GMC registration and a medical degree, with additional qualifications preferred.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist to join a well established independent hospital for Adults in Leicester on a Temporary contract with the potential to move to permanent.

The role will be working alongside an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and junior doctors.

About the Hospital:

The private hospital offers first class patient care and has a therapeutic approach to patient treatment. The hospital is supported by an experienced medical team, Physical health team, full MDT and nursing compliment.

Responsibilities of the role:

Completing Tribunal Reports
Providing support and Guidance to Junior Doctors
Completing Ward rounds
Supporting Consultant as and when needed

Rates of Pay: 55-70ph DOE

Qualifications and Experience:

GMC Registrations and Medical Degree- Essential

Section 12 approval- Preferable

MRCPsych- Preferable
