We are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing international company, who operate in America, Australia and Asia, renowned for its ground-breaking engineering services. This company is bringing innovation to the residential timber industry by integrating artificial intelligence with expert design, streamlining the process.

As the Head of Design, you will:

• Provide quality assurance by reviewing component designs on a range of projects.
• Train the team members in industry standard practices for estimation and design.
• Consult with customers and adding value through offering insights.
• Maintain relationships with key clients & stakeholders.
• Assist in the efficiency in creating take-offs, pricing/quotes, and quality assurance.

Who we are looking for:

• 8+ years of experience within the timber/residential industry.
• Knowledge on Design, Estimation and Quality Assurance.
• Proficient in software: MiTek, Wolf, Gangnail, Consultec or Industry equivalents.
• Understanding of construction documents plans, building materials, and residential building standards.
• Passion for technology and be comfortable working in a virtual environment with international teams.
• Takes pride in their work and does so with a high-level honesty and integrity.
