We are hiring for a Womenswear Graphic Designer to join our client's creative team in Leicester. This role involves designing and developing innovative graphic concepts for womenswear apparel and merchandise. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment for a leading fast-fashion supplier that collaborates with major UK high-street retailers, global event companies, and music labels.

Duties of a Womenswear Graphic Designer

As part of the design team, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating original and engaging designs in line with client briefs and creative guidelines.
  • Translating briefs into visuals that resonate with target audiences.
  • Managing client proposals and ensuring timelines, budgets, and expectations are met.
  • Preparing detailed tech packs and ensuring accurate communication with production teams.
  • Collaborating with merchandising, production, and sales departments to streamline processes.
  • Proofing, retouching, and setting up artwork for DTG, screen printing, and sublimation.
  • Researching and identifying emerging fashion trends to keep ahead of the market.
  • Supporting cross-category design projects, including menswear, as required.
  • Building strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external license holders.

Skills and Experience of a Womenswear Graphic Designer

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in womenswear graphic design within a supplier or retail setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time-management and communication skills to meet tight deadlines.

It would also be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with DTG printing and placement print design.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends and market demands.
  • A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for working on diverse design projects.
