Temporary Handman/Maintenance Technician - £16p/h Leicster

Immediate Start, 9:00 - 17:30 Monday-Friday

My client provides high quality student housing, in both shared houses and apartments, in 24 cities across the UK, leading the way in offering exceptional student accommodation. I am recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their team to manage repairs and maintenance across their portfolio of student houses in Leicster.

Duties include:

  • Provide high standard repairs, maintenance and decorating across a portfolio of high quality student housing
  • Working and interacting with student customers to rectify maintenane issues
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance
  • Undertake health and safety checks 
  • Carry out statutory compliance inspections where necessary
  • Energy and utility management including meter reading and broadband service management
  • Basic seasonal garden maintenance 

What we need from you:

  • Full, clean driving license
  • Experience completing repairs and planned maintenance
  • Experience in painting 
  • Experience in basic maintenance (carpentry, plumbing and electrical)
  • Excellent communication and customer service 
  • Proactive and positive attitude to work under own initiative
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to use IOS on iPhone and iPad and experience with Microsoft Office
