Temporary Handman/Maintenance Technician - £16p/h Leicster

Immediate Start, 9:00 - 17:30 Monday-Friday

My client provides high quality student housing, in both shared houses and apartments, in 24 cities across the UK, leading the way in offering exceptional student accommodation. I am recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their team to manage repairs and maintenance across their portfolio of student houses in Leicster.

Duties include:

Provide high standard repairs, maintenance and decorating across a portfolio of high quality student housing
Working and interacting with student customers to rectify maintenane issues
Complete planned and reactive maintenance
Undertake health and safety checks
Carry out statutory compliance inspections where necessary
Energy and utility management including meter reading and broadband service management
Basic seasonal garden maintenance

What we need from you:

Full, clean driving license
Experience completing repairs and planned maintenance
Experience in painting
Experience in basic maintenance (carpentry, plumbing and electrical)
Excellent communication and customer service
Proactive and positive attitude to work under own initiative
Strong IT skills with the ability to use IOS on iPhone and iPad and experience with Microsoft Office
