- Investigating and documenting accidents, incidents, and near misses, as well as maintaining related records.
- Overseeing and advising on the safe storage of products in accordance with COSHH Regulations and the Fire Safety Order.
- Regularly coordinating with onsite engineers, human resources, and third parties to ensure all branches meet health and safety and legal requirements.
- Monitoring and updating training programs and manuals to ensure they remain effective and current.
- Providing guidance on regulatory changes, implementations, and training to help others achieve health, safety, quality standards, and legal compliance.
- A qualification in Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E), such as IOSH/NEBOSH, is desirable, though training and development opportunities will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, with the ability to stay current on changes and inform the business when necessary.
- Familiarity with OHSAS 18001/45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 is desirable.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license is required due to the need for travel between sites.
