Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependant on experience)

Here at TeacherActive, we are working with a SEND (Special educational needs) school in Leicester, who are currently looking for a SEND Teaching assistant who has a true passion for working within a SEND setting.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working with SEND - Ideally high end ASD (Autistic spectrum disorder), MLD (Moderate learning difficulties) and SLD (Sever learning difficulties). You will be working with non-verbal children, so it is essential that you already have experience working with non-verbal children/adults.
The successful Teaching assistant will need to:
- Have sensitivity and understanding
- Have active listening skills
- Have the ability to remain calm in all situations
- Enjoy forming relationships with both students and colleagues
