Long Term Futures are currently working in collaboration with a SEMH school in Leicestershire (LE12). The school is a specialist day school catering students aged between 6 and 17. The school currently accommodates 76 pupils, providing a supportive environment for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, as well as additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD, facilitating their access to the curriculum.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualised learning plans.
  • Support students in both classroom settings and during outdoor learning activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and self-regulation among students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists to deliver all round support.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH/SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Willingness to engage in both indoor and outdoor learning activities.
  • Commitment to supporting students' personal and academic development.
