This role involves a mix of hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and offering technical support via a help desk when required. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.Key Responsibilities:*Conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems in rolling stock and associated equipment.*Provide technical support remotely via a help desk, assisting with fault finding and troubleshooting.*Travel to various depots nationwide to support maintenance teams and resolve technical issues.*Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems.*Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and depot teams to ensure efficient service delivery.*Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations.*Maintain accurate records of work completed and report on technical issues.Requirements:*Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent).*Experience working on rolling stock, heavy plant, or industrial electrical systems.*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in electrical and electronic systems.*Ability to travel nationwide as required.*Full UK driving licence (Company van provided).*Comfortable working 4 on / 4 off shifts, including nights and weekends.*Strong communication and customer service skills, both in-person and via help desk support.Benefits:*£40,000 per annum salary.*Company van and fuel card provided.*Training and career development opportunities.*Pension scheme and company benefits package.Contact Name: Elliott Bland Telephone number: email address: .
