We're looking for a Supported Housing Manager to lead a dedicated team and deliver exceptional services to individuals transitioning from homelessness into accommodation.
Supported Housing Manager - Temporary Contract
Location: Leicester
Contract: Temporary - 3 Months (Potential for Extension)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: 30-33 per hour (via umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Supported Housing Manager Role:
Acting on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Supported Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of accommodation-based services. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for tenants with complex needs while supporting and inspiring your team.
Key Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Manager:
  • Managing a team of 6 Support Workers, 2 Concierge staff, 1 Multi-Trade Operative, and 2 Cleaners.
  • Providing guidance and support to the team, fostering a trauma-informed approach to care.
  • Ensuring effective tenancy management, including safeguarding and supporting tenants with substance misuse challenges.
  • Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Overseeing safeguarding concerns, ensuring all procedures are followed, and managing risk effectively.
  • Developing and delivering high-quality support plans tailored to individual tenant needs.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Supported Housing Manager or in a similar role within accommodation-based services.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and support for individuals with drug and alcohol misuse issues.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
