Macildowie's HR Team are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for a people (HR) Advisor to join our clients dynamic HR team.

The Role: ER Advisor Location: Leicester (Hybrid: 3 days in-office)

Role Overview:

Working within a busy HR team, partnering with HR Partners to deliver expert advice on HR and Employment Law across the Group. This is a fantastic chance to further your HR career and contribute to the ongoing development of our HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a key position where you will provide effective and efficient generalist HR support and advice, as well as driving change to support the overall business strategy.
  • You will also be responsible for both supporting and leading several key strategic projects, ensuring relevant deliverables and timeframes are met, and will have the opportunity to work across different areas and on various projects simultaneously.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing expert advice according to UK employment legislation and internal policies and processes.
  • Offering advice, training, and guidance on all policies and processes, and supporting updates.
  • Conducting regular reviews and reporting on the performance of cases and ongoing projects.
  • Supporting and coaching managers on ER cases and outcome letters.
  • Responding to advice emails within the designated timescale.
  • Supporting the development, creation, and delivery of HR training to upskill managers.
  • Reviewing education reports and ensuring managers complete required training.
  • Creating checklists and trackers for consistent process management.
  • Supporting the maintenance and continuous updates/improvements to HR process maps and manuals.

The successful candidate:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Adviser.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its application.
  • Experience in advising and coaching managers on ER matters.
  • Skilled in interpreting company policies and processes.
