Your new role
This is a permanent, part-time position (20-25 hours per week) with a 6-month probationary period. You'll report directly to the HR Officer and work closely with them to provide essential generalist HR administrative support. This role demands stamina, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update personnel records, HR files, and HRIS (Bright HR).
- Manage sickness absence, including Bradford Factor calculations and Occupational Health referrals.
- Prepare return-to-work paperwork.
- Monitor and update annual employment checks (professional registrations, DBS).
- Support GP Registrar rotations (pre-employment checks, ESR updates, inductions).
- Oversee mandatory training compliance and maintain training records.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including taking note
Recruitment Support:
- Draft and place job adverts on NHS Jobs and other platforms.
- Create and send shortlisting information.
- Schedule interviews and support pre-employment checks.
- Prepare staff induction packs, conduct inductions, and order uniform/badges.
- General Administration:
- Handle HR-related queries from staff and managers.
- Create and present reports on sickness and Bradford Factor scores.
- Maintain accurate databases and registers.
- Distribute HR information and updates.
- Ensure strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate meeting agendas and take minutes.
- Manage conference room bookings and website updates.
- Draft meeting agendas and supporting paperwork.
- Produce documents such as presentations and spreadsheets.
- Assist with organisational communications.
