HR Advisor

12-month maternity contract

Salary: Up to £30k

SF Recruitment's Commercial division is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client in Leicester city centre. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract with potential for extension, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business.

In this role, you will work within the Advisory team, providing expert HR and Employment Law advice and support to businesses across the UK. You will communicate via email, telephone, and client meetings, presenting all options and risks clearly to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong client relationships to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Respond to and resolve client inquiries within contractual SLAs.
  • Provide additional HR support to the wider team during busy periods.
  • Stay current with legislation and best practises by attending internal meetings and training.
  • Guide clients on employment law and HR matters, discussing all available options.
  • Maintain accurate client records, including amendments, resolved cases, and confidential documentation.
  • Assist clients in drafting documentation and contract letters in line with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an HR Advisor or HR Consultant. They should be empathetic, passionate about building client relationships, and capable of providing fair, consultative advice. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is crucial.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills in a dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practises.
