Sofidel UK is on the lookout for a driven and motivated HR Apprentice to join the team in Hamilton, Leicester. As one of the world’s largest paper hygiene manufacturers Sofidel is committed to our vision of the future, and we want you to be part of it. Working alongside the established HR team, the successful candidate will play an important part in the day-to-day activity of the team.
As part of the apprenticeship, you will get a flavor of a variety of HR activities including; recruitment, employee relations, learning and development and reward. This truly generalist role will provide you with the skills to foster your career in HR, so what are you waiting for, apply today!
About you:
In this busy role, you will be a good communicator (both written and verbal) and have the ability to work with a wide variety of people. You will also practice excellent customer service levels to internal and external stakeholders, candidates and contractors.
With two manufacturing Plants across Leicester, you’ll constantly be on the go and learning so it is crucial that you are motivated and driven to achieving success and eager to learn and develop in the field of HR.
Daily tasks could include:
- Answering telephone queries and diverting calls to the relevant area
- Providing administrative support to the HR Team
- Assisting with ER case work including investigation and disciplinary support
- Processing system changes
- Advertising job roles
- Screening candidates for interview
- Writing contracts of employment and changes
