Are you a experienced HR Coordinator / HR Administrator ready to step into a HR Officer role or an experienced Officer looking for a move to an operational, hands-on & busy manufacturing company?

We are working in partnership with a highly experienced Head of People to recruit a HR Officer joining a team of 3 supporting a large and varied workforce from shop floor manufacturers to corporate functions with duties including:

  • Supporting management through low level employee relations cases mainly relating to absence & performance management
  • Coaching managers on matters throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Supporting payroll in collating and keeping data up to date
  • Sending out employee contracts and assisting with any working request paperwork
  • Proving recruitment & on-boarding support
  • Assisting with any HR related admin duties

This is a full time permanent position working onsite in Leicester with some flexibility on start & finish times between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

For this role we are looking for either HR Coordinators/Administrators looking for the next step into a HR Officer role or experienced HR Officer's looking to join an established and growing busy manufacturing organisation.

You will be knowledgeable in UK employment law, either with a CIPD Level 3 or equivalent or able to demonstrate relative experience and this organisation are also able to provide support towards completing CIPD studies (Level 3 or 5).

You will be confident in handling ER cases including absence management, capability assessments and investigations into more complex cases and be able to build relationships with managers to work with them closely on everything People related.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain exposure to a busy and varied workforce and be mentored by a highly experienced Head of People.
