AI Engineer

Role: AI EngineerSalary/Rate: circa £575 per day (inside IR35) Location: Mainly remote - HQ visits in LeicesterContract Duration: 3-6 months

An experienced AI Engineer skilled in Azure and large language models is required by a leading property services supplier to work on some exciting projects focusing on growing AI capabilities and solutions.

This AI Engineer role is based mainly remotely, but candidates must be able to visit HQ based in Leicester for collaborative workshops and meetings.

The contract for the AI Engineer position is initially for 3-6-months, offering a daily rate within the flexible range of £ 550 to £ 600, operating inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Experience of designing and developing AI solutions in a commercial environment using Azure AI services stack
• Experience with Azure AI Cognitive Services
• Experience with Microsoft Azure OpenAI
• Experience with AI Prompt Engineering
• Excellent communication skills, effectively work with and influence internal and external stakeholders
• Possess expert-level knowledge of AI concepts, practices, technology and applications
• Strong soft skills to understand the people impacts of change in the AI environment
• Manage the complete process of establishing and delivering AI ecosystems
• Demonstrate the ability to conduct research in a fast moving and highly complex field
• Manage Risks and Issues and providing appropriate mitigation and resolution strategies
• Regular reporting on the performance and monitoring of live AI solutions
• Lead initiatives to foster a culture of Innovation in terms of AI technology and automation.
• Support the implementation of AI Strategy ensuring alignment to the wider Data Strategy.
• Develop AI systems and the AI ecosystem to support the rapid pace of AI development and efficient delivery of AI initiatives.
• Represent AI at the Enterprise Architecture steering group ensuring that architectural decisions align to the Data & AI Strategies.
• Work closely with IT colleagues to integrate AI capabilities with line-of-business systems.
• Pro-actively research and highlight emerging trends in the AI industry and present any opportunities to key Senior Managers.
• Work closely with delivery teams and operational areas to create a team approach to delivery
• Develop control and reporting mechanisms to ensure that AI solutions are monitored and continuously improved
