We are seeking a Network Management Technician for a local authority role. The ideal candidate will be organised, with a flexible approach to work planning and adept in management processes. This position requires a professional with Street Works experience and proficiency in using specific network management software.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Utilise Street Manager and Confirm (HMS) to approve permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Use One Network to approve minor permits efficiently.
  • Perform administrative tasks to maintain clear inboxes and manage correspondence.
  • Plot diversions and manage work planning with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operation of network management processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Street Works and permits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Street Works and approving permits via Street Manager or Confirm.
  • Proficiency in using One Network for minor permit approvals.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Organised with a systematic approach to management processes.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt work planning as needed.
  • Capable of handling administrative work and plotting diversions.
