This hybrid role combines working from home, office-based tasks, and visiting client sites, so a proactive and adaptable approach is essential.

The Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll support clients with on-site and remote services, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with the latest IT standards. You'll also contribute to the development of new systems, maintain existing technologies, and help improve business efficiency through cutting-edge solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing on-site and remote support to resolve technical issues and service requests.
  • Monitoring and responding to events in the Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Security Operations Centre (SOC).
  • Managing cloud solutions, including WLAN, MDM, and VoIP platforms.
  • Deploying, maintaining, and optimising systems to enhance client operations.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials policies and IT-related legislation.
  • Supporting change-management activities and creating detailed documentation for internal and client use.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience with Office 365 (Azure, Admin Centre)
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Intune Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Network Troubleshooting and Breakfix experience.
  • Experience managing service desk processes and troubleshooting security issues.
