We're currently seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to lead a well experienced and efficient team. Providing hands-on support to both production and internal function throughout the site. Part of your role will involve supporting the existing engineering management teams by communicating faults, developing prevention initiatives and implementing IMS standards.Typical duties will involve:* Develop and implement a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.* Implement and follow all company and site control procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality statutory requirements.* Develop and carry out repair activities, working within production needs to enhance plant availability.* Coordinate with and manage external contractors, ensuring they adhere to strict safety guidelines and meet standards.* Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively in a timely manner.* Maintain effective interdepartmental communication to achieve defined objectives and optimize efficiency.Desirable experience:* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship to Level 3, such as City and Guilds or NVQ or equivalent.* Experience in managing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.* Proficiency in computer literacy, including experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.* Strong self-motivation and effective communication skills for interdepartmental coordination.* Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and develop a team.* Proven ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques, provide solutions, and delegate responsibilities.
