We are hiring an Assembly Operator to work in Leicester. This role involves assembling various battery components and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties of an Assembly Operator
As part of the Manufacturing & Production team, you will be responsible for:
- Using hand tools and power tools to assemble components
- Handling batteries with care and precision, as it is a safety-critical role
- Ensuring quality control checks are performed throughout the assembly process
- Following health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment
- Reading and understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules
- Communicating effectively with team leaders and supervisors regarding any issues or updates
- Completing basic written reports on work progress and quality control checks
- Carrying out basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled products
- Collaborating with the team and reporting any issues to the supervisor
Skills and Experience Required for an Assembly Operator
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in assembly work, production, or a similar hands-on role
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
