Are you a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter with a passion for working in the civils sector?
We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, to join their dynamic team and be a key player in keeping heavy plant machinery operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.)
- Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns swiftly across multiple sites within the civils sector.
- Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Work independently while liaising with site managers and engineers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar role in the construction or civils industry.
- Strong diagnostic skills with a deep understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Valid driver's licence (essential).
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable).
