A highly regarded independent Commercial Insurance Broker are looking to appoint an Insurance Administrator to support their Commercial Broking teams. They seek an organised individual with excellent attention to detail and previous commercial insurance experience to support the needs of a diverse and interesting group of clients.

The Insurance Administrator will provide broking support to several commercial Account Handling teams with administering the client portfolio, including setting up all appropriate actions required for contract renewal.

This is a hybrid position with 2 days/week in the office.

About the role:

  • Ensure all documentation associated with placing, amending, or renewing clients’ insurance programmes is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Administering adjustments and addressing queries raised by existing clients and prospects.
  • Checking policy documentation from insurers to ensure sums insured, proposer details, scope of cover etc are correct and as quoted.
  • Administering diary system, including chasing insurers and clients for outstanding documentation, payment, claims updates etc.
  • Customers will range in size and shape, from smaller clients up to large corporate sized risks

Key skills/experience required:

  • Previous Commercial Insurance experience.
  • Good communication, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working with Acturis would be beneficial
  • The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Target driven and motivated

Salary/Benefits Information:
