The Recruitment Group is working with one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use worldwide. Due to increased workloads our client is recruiting for a dynamic and exciting individual to join our Manufacturing team in Leicester. The role will be based at their site in Hamilton.

Raw Material Operative

Monday – Friday AM start

PURPOSE

To organize and perform the raw materials and parent reels movement flow in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check regularly raw materials and parent reels stock and incoming orders in order to organize their movement flow
  • Guarantee the execution of non-conformity resolution
  • Record goods receipt for parent reels on the system and labeled them if required
  • Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
  • Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
  • Run quality check of all incoming goods
  • Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct area
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
  • Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation
  • .
  • Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
  • Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
  • Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
  • Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
  • Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
  • Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
  • To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
  • To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to

Requirements

  • FLT licence, Counterbalance and Clamp
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
