Are you an experienced Stock Controller looking to join a dynamic and growing company in the packaging industry? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to manage stock levels, ensure efficient inventory control, and support smooth operations in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Excel
- Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry
The finer elements of the role include:
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of packaging materials to ensure availability for production
- Process and track orders, liaising with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve any discrepancies
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring data integrity
- Work closely with production and purchasing teams to forecast stock requirements
- Implement and improve stock control procedures to optimise efficiency
