About the Role:Macildowie is thrilled to be exclusively recruiting for a Pensions Administrator to join a growing team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Group Pensions Manager and provide exceptional administrative support while serving as the first point of contact for pensions-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and triage incoming correspondence and emails, responding to straightforward inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Organise and host pension surgeries and site visits.
  • Coordinate communications and engagement activities across multiple locations.
  • Ensure accurate submission of pension contributions for various payrolls.
  • Prepare documentation for Death in Service and Retirement cases for committee review.
  • Organise and take minutes for committee meetings, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage trustee expenses and invoice processing, as well as arranging meeting logistics.
  • Assist the People and Payroll teams with inquiries while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience:Essential:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of UK pension schemes, payroll practices, and life assurance schemes.
  • Familiarity with Data Protection legislation and experience handling sensitive cases.
