The Quality Manager position is a permanent role based in Leicestershire with a salary range of £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience in the mechanical, heavy industrial, assembly, or similar manufacturing industries.
The ideal applicant will possess qualifications in engineering and have prior experience as a Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Manager, along with knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
Key responsibilities include managing the Quality Engineering team, ensuring product quality standards, and liaising with suppliers.
Applicants with a minimum of several years of relevant experience and exposure to quality methods such as 5S and LEAN are encouraged to apply.

JOB- Quality Manager LOCATION- Leicestershire TERM- PermanentSALARY- £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Quality Manager on a permanent basis in the Leicstershire area with experience in the mechanical, heavy industrial, assembly or similar Manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the Quality Engineering Tema in the day-to-day running of the ISO ISO9001 Quality Management System as well as being hands on with solving any Quality Engineering issues. We are also considering senior Quality Engineers looking to step up.The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience.
Previous experience as a Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Manager
Knowledge of Electronics or Electro-Mechanical manufacturing
Must have previous experience of working within an ISO 9001, IATF16949, ISO13485, AS9100 or similar Quality Management System.
Working experience of quality methods such as 5S, LEAN and Continuous Improvement.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
Good problem-solving skills.
Experience in heavy manufacturing – beneficial
Exposure to Nuclear industry – advantageous but not necessary

The Quality Manager role will involve:

Managing the Quality Engineering team day to day.
Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
Liaising with Supplier to ensure they are meeting quality standards
Overseeing SOP’s of the Quality team.
Implementation of new quality standards
Assisting with HSE responsibilities where needed.
Overseeing audits to the ISO9001 QMS.
